This is the unofficial subreddit for T-Mobile ISP/Home Internet service. T-Mobile 5G Home Internet for Gaming. I was curious if anyone has experience with T-Mobiles 5G Home Internet for gaming and streaming purposes. Wife and I are being price gouged by Cox for 150mbps internet, while our T-Mobile phones get 350mbps in our house; contemplating ...

Also, my phone connects to the same tower from the same room with much higher speed. T-Mobile home internet is throttled at least a little, all the time. Speed test, just now: T-Mobile home internet: 352/100 T-Mobile direct 5g on phone (same room in the apartment, connecting to the same tower) 699/99

So 5g home internet recently became available at my house through T-Mobile. I've been looking into it because $30/mo is a hell of a lot better deal than what I'm paying for cable internet. I am a T-Mobile customer already for cell phones and I've had a pretty good experience with them so far.

  4. My review of the T-Mobile Home Internet service : r/tmobileisp - Reddit

    https://www.reddit.com/r/tmobileisp/comments/o7v7oe/my_review_of_the_tmobile_home_internet_service/

It seems like there are a lot of problems users are posting. Without a solution to these pesky little problems, T-mobile will start to lose those of us who hate cable. $50 monthly rate is great but for $20 more per month, the evil cable companies provide a more consistent connection. Come on T-mobile!

  5. T-Mobile Home Internet, High Jitter and Packet Loss?

    https://www.reddit.com/r/Rural_Internet/comments/lcjx3o/tmobile_home_internet_high_jitter_and_packet_loss/

I just recently got the Tmo home internet. I actually get excellent speeds, averaging 150-250mb download. This is faster than I have had with any reseller by FAR. The glaring issue is that the jitter and packet loss will randomly spike extremely high. I am talking about 50-75% packet loss for extended periods. This makes gaming online impossible.

  6. T-Mobile Home Internet, Third party router, Network passthrough?

    https://www.reddit.com/r/tmobile/comments/je6bs6/tmobile_home_internet_third_party_router_network/

Short answer: you can't. There's no bridge mode on the LTE modem (ridiculous I know). Best thing you can do is set your router to AP mode, but then you're letting the LTE router do all the traffic work, which isn't great. 1. Reply.

  7. T-Mobile Home Internet vs Spectrum Cable Internet : r/tmobileisp - Reddit

    https://www.reddit.com/r/tmobileisp/comments/zq4wov/tmobile_home_internet_vs_spectrum_cable_internet/

Speeds are faster with T-Mobile (up to 650 down) but that differential is not important to me--and probable higher level of inconsistency with T-Mobile likely offsets their peak faster speed. QUESTIONS--Thoughts & comments on the positives/negatives of T-Mobile Home Internet vs. Spectrum cable internet--given my circumstances? I want to make ...

T-Mobile Home Internet. Suggestion For SDS. Super frustrating that T-Mobile sponsors the MLB yet their home internet can’t support the online match making for MLBs official game. I reached out to T-Mobile support and they are fully aware of the issue and basically said I was SOL. I’ve seen some others post, but DO NOT BUY THIS GAME if you ...

I have t-mobile 5g home. Recently my firewalla shows "Internet connection lost" even though all my devices have internet.
