CUIT provides email service to the Columbia University community of students, faculty, and staff. The service includes automatic backup of mail stored on our servers, support for secure protocols for sending and retrieving mail, and extensive spam-filtering.

This e-mail will contain a temporary password to get you started. Confirm your account is active by visiting the CUMC IT Outlook Website. Enter: mc\ (Example: mc\es2225), and the temporary password from the email. If you are able to access the Web Outlook portal, your email is ready to be configured.

There are many self service options that can immediately resolve issues: MC domain and CUIMC email accounts - for logins to a work computer, network drive, your @cumc.columbia.edu email account, and/or student Pharos printing accounts, use the myPassword website: https://mypassword.cumc.columbia.edu
