In Costa Rica, from Jan 3 to 3:33pm CET, 17 November 2020, there have been 123,223 confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 1,546 deaths.

Majority of COVID-19 Infections in Costa Rica Occur in People Between 30 and 34 years of age. The young adult population is the one that registers the largest number of COVID-19 infections in Costa Rica, with the age range between 30 and 34 years. According to data from the Ministry of Health, the average age of active cases of the novel Coronavirus in the country is 33.5 years, while the general average of accumulated infections (taking into account active and recovered cases) is 34.4 years.

Costa Rica has a total of 127,012 confirmed cases of COVID-19 since March 2, 2020. 496 people are currently hospitalized with COVID-19 and 216 patients are in intensive care. 1,588 COVID-19 deaths have been recorded and 78,238 people have been cleared as recovered; however this figure typically lags several weeks behind actual figures.
