1,356. Location: Alexandria Virginia and Ottawa, Canada. I replaced my original Sena SMH10 intercom with a new 10S last year. It has an earbud port, and I simply plug may earbuds into that. That's the only way I use it, so I did not install the 10S speakers. I did not have to cut the speaker wires, as they have plugs.

  2. Help wiring the Sena Smh10 for speakers or headphones

    https://www.advrider.com/f/threads/help-wiring-the-sena-smh10-for-speakers-or-headphones.898228/

Wire Sena (R+) to pin (2) on the jack. Wire (+) wire from right speaker to pin (3) on the jack. Wire (+) wire from left speaker to pin (4) on the jack. Wire Sena (L+) to pin 5 on the jack. When wired this way, no headphone in the jack = audio to the speakers.

  3. just do it, so e great features - Adventure Rider

    https://www.advrider.com/f/threads/cardo-systems-scala-rider-g9-update-just-do-it-so-e-great-features.1009240/

When the G9X was introduced, I was upset at some of its features - upset because I wasn't prepared to give Cardo more of my money but...the G9X had certain features that I wanted, specifically the helmet base that allowed a plug and play for wired headphones (with sound isolation) so I went out and bought the g9X helmet bases and got that feature.

  4. Sena SRL Speaker Replacement - Spacers? | Adventure Rider

A1EX8 Adventurer. Morning all, so this weekend Ive wired new drivers into my Sena SRL comms set. The latest software updates to everything appears to have the connections stable now so my thoughts turned to audio quality. (I still get the weird ticking noise in my right ear from time to time though). The SRL kit fits beautifully into my Neotec ...

  5. Tripltek 8 Pro anyone? - Adventure Rider

    https://www.advrider.com/f/threads/tripltek-8-pro-anyone.1597385/

Anyway, the Tripltek Pro 8 at 8" is appealing., well accept the price in Australia which is AU$1,399. Ouch. The mount might be interesting for larger phones as the like of the RAM mounts appear to be getting limited by the newer larger phones in cases. Been through a zumo 550, and 660 already.

  6. Is your Sena Bluetooth headset too quiet? - Adventure Rider

    https://www.advrider.com/f/threads/is-your-sena-bluetooth-headset-too-quiet.908420/

13,093. Location: Around the World. I recently purchased a Sena SMH5-FM headset. Mostly I just want to listen to music and podcasts. From the first time I used it, it was too quiet. Sure, I could hear the music, but podcasts were too quiet to hear what people were saying. I wanted to turn it up just one or two notches.

  7. Sena S20 experience | Page 3 | Adventure Rider

    https://www.advrider.com/f/threads/sena-s20-experience.993790/page-3

From 14 hour ride - two annoying issues: 1) audio mixing did not work well switching between music and intercom - never heard music. Mic might be too sensitive or music too soft. 2) battery ran out at hour 11 for me. Seemed like the 10 has a slightly longer 'in-use' battery life. Using v1.1 firmware.

  8. Getting started with Garmin Zumo XT - Adventure Rider

    https://www.advrider.com/getting-started-with-garmin-zumo-xt/

The Garmin Zumo XT debuted in early 2020, as an adventure-focused motorcycle GPS system. Previous Garmin units had the option to select the twistiest roads automatically. The XT takes things a step further, with “Garmin Adventurous Routing.”. Use this option when automatically mapping a route, and you can incorporate unpaved roads, 4×4 ...

  9. Cardo Packtalk to Sena Schuberth SC2 cable/connector mod

    https://www.advrider.com/f/threads/cardo-packtalk-to-sena-schuberth-sc2-cable-connector-mod.1644797/

1 option can be to connect the E2 Sena to your Cardo in BT universal pairing. Cardo now becomes the bridge to other Cardo units in Mesh mode. Keep the Cardo in the bag and plugged in to a battery bank. You don't need to connect the Cardo mic/speakers etc. That seems to be the most expensive option. #8.
