Bill DeWitt Jr. has served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Cardinals since 1996, when he led the purchase of the team from Anheuser Busch. DeWitt oversees all baseball, operational, financial and league matters for the team. He is Chairman of the Major League Baseball Executive Council, a member of the Board of Major League Baseball Advanced Media, the Government Relations Committee and the Labor Policy Committee.
