    Franklin wrote his autobiography over a 19 year period from 1771 to 1790. I found the language challenging to read in parts. It seems the level of language becomes more and more challenging as you go back in time in fifty-year increments. I found The Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin to be quite fascinating.
