You can choose to sign in with a password or add 2-Step Verification, which sends a security code to your phone as an extra security step. On some apps and devices, you can use an app password to sign in to your Google Account.

Open your browser. Navigate to Gmail. Type your username and click Next. Verify your name is correct on the top. Enter your password and click Next. If you don't remember your password use the Forgot password? link to reset it.

To start the sign-in process, open your browser and go to Gmail.com. When the sign-in page appears, enter the email or phone number associated with your Google account. This is identical to the login details you use for your Gmail account. Then, enter the password associated with your Google account.
