If your only purpose is to transfer categories into iptc keywords, you don't need to update the xnview catalog. But having a catalog synchronized with keywords allows you to check the progress of your work, and to learn how to use XnViewMP's filtering and search features, in case you decide to stop paying Adobe.

In XnView MP the command line options are planned to be listed in the "About" dialog, which you can open using "Help > About...", tab "Command line". Until now this tab is empty (not intentionally). +1 | Even though the info might be there, I support your request of having something like a --help option for outputting command line options.

Plugins for XnView (or XnView Deluxe) are greatly desired. Many versions listed above do not have any plugins or have just a few. If you know of photoshop (8bf) plugins, freeware or shareware, that will work on XnView, tell me where to get more information about them online and where to download the free ones.

My company has purchased a license voor XnView Software for me. I was given a Product Key, however not once during the installation process of the software I was asked for this number.
